When it comes to this site, I find that I change my mind more often than… well, something that changes a lot. Just when I think I am done writing and I want to just focus on videos, I realize that I need to write. That’s exactly it, I need to write. When I first started blogging so many years ago, I would write a few times a week, and I loved it. Then things slowly started to change. I became frustrated with what I was writing about. I felt like I was stuck in one small little niche and I couldn’t break out of it. As a result, I stopped blogging for a while, until I needed to write again and I created a new blog. But to my surprise it just happened again, I was stuck. Until, once again I I created a new blog, this time for videos. What the heck was going on? Did I really think that this one would last? I was kidding myself, it didn’t last. As you have seen, I haven’t created a new post in quite some time. Well I am nipping this one in the bud.

Before you start groaning and muttering about how you’ve had it with all my sites, I assure you, this site will stay. I am just going to be expanding my horizons here. As long as I have been blogging I have been told that if I want consistent readers I need to “find my niche”, I need to have a focus. In the beginning that focus was politics, then it moved to religion, then film. I love all those topics and I can’t just pick one, and I won’t. This site is called “i am nick gray”, that is what this site is about. This is my site and it is about my journey in life. It is about my ever maturing views on politics and religion, and it is about my journey into film making. It is also about whatever the heck else I want it to be about. This is my site.

So, welcome to my blog, yet again. Don’t worry, it will not be changing ever again (except for the design maybe) because it can’t. I hope you stick around.
